Raleigh deputies: Second victim identified in homicide investigation

BECKLEY, W.Va. — The Raleigh County Sheriff’s Department said a positive identification has been made of a second body found near Coal Citiy back in August.

In a Wednesday news release, the department said testing has confirmed the second body to be that of Lauren “Lulu” Cree-Jenkins, 27, of Wheeling.

The department had previously identified the other body to be that of Trevor Vossen, also of Wheeling.

It’s believed the two were murdered in the Wheeling area and their bodies left along Sullivan Road in Raleigh County. Investigators are looking for a white Honda Accord with a West Virginia license plate 73K-986.

Reports indicate Cree-Jenkins was five months pregnant.
