Blenko Glass piece unveiled at state Culture Center

CHARLESTON, W.Va. — First lady Cathy Justice unveiled this year’s Blenko Glass piece in an event Thursday at the state Culture Center.

This year’s piece, in which 100 were made, is a pitcher with a crackle design and a cobalt handle. The pitcher also has a silver imprint of the state surrounded by silver leaves.

“They are all numbered pieces,” Justice said in a video from the governor’s office. “If you get one number one year, you probably want to get the one next year.”

The pitchers are available at the state Culture Center at the price of $70 each.
