Wheeling city manager charged with DUI following crash

WHEELING, W.Va. — Wheeling City Manager Robert Herron was arrested for DUI following a vehicle accident in the city Saturday night, according to The Intelligencer.

Wheeling Mayor Glenn Elliott told the newspaper that there was a car crash Saturday night at approximately 11 p.m at 16th and Market Street in downtown Wheeling involving Herron.

No injuries were reported at the scene as Herron was transported to the West Virginia Northern Regional Jail.
