Fairmont police seek person of interest in connection to fatal fire

A person of interest in a fatal fire now being investigated as an arson in Fairmont.

FAIRMONT, W.Va. — City police are investigating an apparent arson that resulted in the death of an unidentified person in Fairmont.

Investigators are seeking a person of interest in the Gaston Avenue fire from March 15.

Police are attempting to identify the person based on photographs and clothing worn at the time of the alleged crime.
