Clarksburg police shut down two drug homes

CLARKSBURG, W.Va. — Clarksburg police announced Thursday it shut down two drug houses under the city’s related ordinance, the 15th and 16th residences for the department.

Police determined illegal drug activity, which is defined as possession, delivery, storage or trafficking drugs, was happening at 152 Ocello Ave. and 1601 Hamill Ave.

Police Chief Robert Hilliard issued abatement orders for Bill Viglianco and Zachary Ware for the illegal activity at the Ocello Avenue and Hamill Avenue residences respectively.

Both are set to appear in court on May 2.

Property owners are subject to fines under the daily house ordinance if they fail to take appropriate actions to address illegal activity or other issues stemming from tenants.
