Smelly mess on Interstate 64

BARBOURSVILLE, W.Va. — Traffic was slowed on Interstate 64 in Cabell County Monday afternoon after a garbage truck lost part of its load.

Bags of garbage littered one westbound lane near the Barboursville exit.

The state Division of Highways called for a large dump truck to be brought to the scene as part of clean-up efforts.

Motorists were expected to face backed up traffic into the late evening hours.
