Former Moundsville Fire Chief sentenced to prison in sexual abuse case

MOUNDSVILLE, W.Va. — Former Moundsville Fire Chief Ronald Walker was sentenced Tuesday after being found guilty on a sexual abuse charge.

Found guilty in January, Walker was sentenced to 1-to-5 years behind bars.

He was accused of sexually abusing a female co-worker on city property.

Walker has to register as a sex offender for life and be under extended supervision for 10 years after release.

He has also resigned from his seat on the Cameron City Council.
