Princeton woman accused of child porn distribution, incest

PRINCETON, W.Va. — A Mercer County woman has been charged with multiple counts related to the alleged production and distribution of child pornography.

Elizabeth Haway, 42, of Princeton was arrested at her home Tuesday, after a cyber tip was received by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. According to the Mercer County Sheriff’s Office, the tip led to the discovery of pornographic videos involving children being distributed on Facebook Messenger.

Haway is charged with first-degree sexual assault, first-degree sexual abuse, use of a minor to produce obscene matter, use of a minor in filming sexually explicit conduct, distribution of material depicting minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct, sexual abuse by a parent, distributing material by a parent depicting a child engaged in sexually explicit conduct, and incest.

She was arraigned in Mercer County Magistrate Court and taken to Southern Regional Jail.

The West Virginia Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force and the Mercer County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office assisted in the investigation.
