2 dead in Greenbrier County collision

FORT SPRING, W.Va. — Two people died Monday in a head-on collision in Greenbrier County.

According to the Greenbrier County Sheriff’s Office, the incident occurred on State Route 63 between Fort Spring and Alderson. An eastbound vehicle reportedly crossed over the center line into the path of a westbound vehicle.

Authorities extracted both drivers from their vehicles. The victims died at the hospital from their injuries.

Officers at the scene said there were no other passengers in vehicles.
