Lincoln County man arrested after striking person with car

LINCOLN COUNTY, W.Va. — Authorities arrested a Harts man after he allegedly struck another person with his car.

According to West Virginia State Police, 49-year-old Marvin Gore faces a charge of DUI causing bodily harm.

He allegedly struck Sonja Mae Workman, 39, of Harts around 1:45 a.m. Monday. Troopers say she was walking in the middle of the road in the 200 block of Harts Creek Road at the time of the incident.

Workman has multiple injuries. Gore is at the Western Regional Jail.
