One dead in wreck in Monongalia County

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — A motorcycle driver is dead following an accident involving a motorcycle and a passenger vehicle.

The wreck occurred around 11:30 a.m. on U.S. 19, heading north bound near the Shack Neighborhood House.

One person was in the other vehicle and did not sustain any injuries, according to investigators.

The name of the victim is being withheld pending family notification.

The Monongalia County Sheriff’s Office is investigating.
