Preliminary hearings for Richwood officials moved

RICHWOOD, W.Va. — Preliminary hearings for four current and former Richwood officials have been moved to July.

Mayor Chris Drennen, former Police Chief Lloyd Allen Cogar, former town clerk Abigail McClung and former Mayor Bob Henry Baber face charges for misusing resources following the June 2016 flood, including purchasing cards and finances.

The hearings will be on July 17, with the first hearing scheduled for 1 p.m.
