CHARLESTON, W.Va. — More than 100 cities and towns across West Virginia have municipal elections scheduled for Tuesday.
Most of the races are for mayor, recorder and members of city or town council. Some terms last two years, others are four-year terms.

According to a list from the West Virginia Municipal League, 124 cities and towns have June elections in the Mountain State. Some of those were last week but the large majority are on the second Tuesday of June.
Much of the voting will be done on paper ballots. Polls open in most municipalities at 6:30 a.m. and close 7:30 p.m.
