Police probe Charleston shooting death

CHARLESTON, W.Va. — Charleston Police are investigating a fatal early Monday morning shooting on the city’s West Side.

Lt. Autumn Davis with the CPD said on ‘580-LIVE with Danny Jones’ that the victim has been identified as Adam Swim, 40 of Charleston, and he was the “obvious victim of a homicide.”

Police responded to a call just after midnight to a residence in the 100 block of Ash Street. When police arrived, Swim was found dead with a gunshot wound to the head.

At this time, Davis said no arrests have been made.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Charleston Police Department at 304-348-8111.
