DUNBAR, W.Va. — The Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a murder.
Deputies were dispatched to 101 Howard Avenue in the Dunbar area around 3:30 Sunday morning to investigate a shooting incident.
According to deputies, Alice Washington, 52, of Dunbar, was shot and killed.
Deputies remained on scene throughout the night, interviewing witnesses, and gathering evidence, per release.
