Public meeting to be held over Corridor H project in Tucker County

DAVIS, W.Va. — The public in the Tucker County area will have a chance to voice opinions about the proposed Corridor H-Parsons to Davis Project on Tuesday night.

The West Virginia Division of Highways (WVDOH) is reactivating the National Environmental Policy Act process and will hold the meeting at the Blackwater Falls State Park Conference Room.

A release from the WVDOH says this component of the 100-mile Appalachian Highway Corridor H involves the construction of an approximately 10-mile new location, four-lane, divided highway, with partial control of access, between Parsons and Davis.

The scheduled public meeting is from 4 to 7 p.m. and the public will be allowed to ask questions and give written comments on the project throughout the meeting.

Project details are specifically laid out on the WVDOH website and will be available in a handout at the meeting.
