WHEELING, W.Va. — Two people face charges in connection with a Wheeling Island murder.
Danny Ivan Mendoza, 25, of Maryland, and Mai’ehia Lane-Plater, 22, of Wheeling, were arrested in Fort Washington, Maryland, on Wednesday for the death of Joseph Edward Harrison.
Harrison, 25, of Cleveland, died after being shot multiple times on Delaware Street on Monday. He later died at Wheeling Hospital.
Mendoza faces a charge of murder while Lane-Plater is charged with accessory after the fact of murder.
