Arrest made following double stabbing in Nicholas County

CRAIGSVILLE, W.Va. — A Nicholas County man is in custody after allegedly stabbing two other men early Thursday morning.

David Wayne Workman, 49, of Craigsville, was arrested by Nicholas County sheriff’s deputies and charged with malicious wounding.

According to deputies, Workman stabbed Austin Barnhouse and Timothy Barnhouse Jr. at their home on Rough Log Road in Craigsville at about 1:50 a.m. Thursday. Both men were taken to Summersville Regional Medical Center.

Workman is being held in the Central Regional Jail on $100,000 bail.
