WEIRTON, W.Va. — Sebastien Spencer’s speed and shiftiness were on full display Saturday at Jimmy Carey Stadium. Weir dominated Petersburg from start to finish in a 40-6 win.
The Red Riders improved to 3-2 while the Vikings fell to 2-3.
Spencer scored on a pair of first quarter touchdown runs from 31 and 41 yards, giving the Red Riders a 14-0 lead just eight minutes into the contest. Spencer then found Elijah Gillette on scoring strikes of 31 and 24 yards to extend Weir’s hafltime lead to 27-0.
Weir will visit Plum, Pa. in Week 6 while the Vikings travel to face Philip Barbour.
