Big 12 announces start time for West Virginia-Kansas State game

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — The Big 12 announced that West Virginia’s Nov. 16 game at Kansas State will kick off at 3:30 p.m. and will be televised on ESPN, ESPN2 or ABC.

The networks will be looking for a prelude to what has already been selected as the ABC prime time game — Oklahoma’s visit to Baylor in what will be a showdown for first place in the Big 12.

No. 20 Kansas State (6-2, 3-2 Big 12) is one of the surprise teams in the league this season under first-year coach Chris Klieman. The Wildcats would keep their hopes of reaching the Big 12 championship game alive with an upset win at Texas this Saturday.

The Mountaineers (3-5, 1-4) will head to Manhattan looking to continue an upward climb towards bowl eligibility. West Virginia hosts Texas Tech at noon Saturday. The league announced Monday that the game will be televised on ESPN2.
