Marshall County honoring Gold Star families with monument

MARSHALL COUNTY, W.Va. — The Marshall County Commission voted Tuesday to build a new memorial honoring the families of military members who died in combat.

The monument will honor four Gold Star families and be located in Moundsville.

The project is expected to begin after Memorial Day and wrap up by Veterans Day.
