Charges filed in Logan County shooting death

CHAPMANVILLE, W.Va. — A man is in custody after being charged with murder in connection with his wife’s death in Logan County.

Kenneth Seay Jr., 40, of Chapmanville, was charged Tuesday by Logan County sheriff’s deputies with first degree murder not long after his wife died at Logan Regional Medical Center.

According to authorities, Mirandi Seay, suffered gunshot wounds.

Seay is being held without bail in the Southwestern Regional Jail.

The Logan County Sheriff’s Department is investigating.
