Death reported in Charleston shooting

CHARLESTON, W.Va. — A woman died as a result of a shooting Saturday night in Charleston, police said.

A call came in to Metro 911 at 7:13 p.m. reporting a shooting at a house at the corner of Glenwood Ave. and Lovell Drive on the city’s West Side.

A woman transported from the scene later died at a hospital, police said.

Few details of the incident were being released Saturday night.
