Man dies in Summers County fire

HINTON, W.Va. — A man was killed in Monday morning house fire in Summers County.

The blaze was reported at about 2 a.m. in the community of Wayside. The victim was a 74-year-old man.

The state Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating a possible cause.

It’s the second fire-related death in the Mountain State in less than 72 hours. A Friday afternoon blaze near Flemington in Taylor County also claimed a
