Rock and mudslide reported in Williamson

WILLIAMSON, W.Va. — Mingo County authorities responded to a rock and mudslide late Wednesday in Williamson.

The incident happened around 10:30 p.m. on West Third Avenue and Fairview.

A car and power lines were damaged in the rock and mudslide. Power in the area is slated to be restored Thursday by 6 a.m.

No injuries have been reported. The road will be closed through at least Thursday.
