Nicholas County man charged with arson after home fire

NICHOLAS COUNTY, W.Va. — A Nicholas County man faces a first-degree arson charge stemming from a residential fire earlier this month.

Lonnie Wayne Bragg, 52, of Tioga, allegedly set the front porch of his 23 Frazier Alley home on fire on Feb. 5.

The Craigsville Fire Department responded to the residence.

An investigation by the West Virginia State Fire Marshal’s Office led to Bragg’s arrest the following day.
