DHHR reports four additional COVID-19 cases Tuesday evening

CHARLESTON, W.Va. — The West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources (DHHR) confirmed four additional coronavirus cases on Tuesday evening, bringing the total positive cases statewide to 1,242.

The DHHR reported 55,157 lab results received, 53,915 negative cases and 50 deaths. 334 tests were added from Tuesday morning’s report.

The state’s positive test rate fell slightly to 2.25 percent from 2.26 percent on Tuesday morning.
