CHARLESTON, W.Va. — The West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources (DHHR) added 10 cases of COVID-19 to the state’s total on Thursday evening.
The DHHR’s report said there are now 1,297 positive cases and 57,995 laboratory results received for COVID-19, up 474 from Thursday morning.
The state’s positive test rate remained at 2.24 percent. No new deaths were added as the number remained at 51.
The DHHR is reporting 484 active cases in West Virginia, 738 residents who had the virus have recovered.
