CHARLESTON, W.Va. — The state Department of Health and Human Resources reported only four new confirmed coronavirus cases in its Monday morning report.
There have now been 1,366 confirmed cases following 63,564 total tests. The DHHR said 62,103 of the tests have been negative. There were 679 total tests added Monday morning.
The state’s positive test rate is at 2.15 percent and the R-naught number, the rate by which one infected person can infect another, is at .83. Anything below 1 is considered good.
There have been 54 COVID-19 deaths in West Virginia.
