CHARLESTON, W.Va. — The West Virginia State Parks will be offering a 30% discount for lodging at state parks beginning in June to all West Virginia residents.

Gov. Jim Justice, who announced the discount on Tuesday, said the move is a gesture to West Virginians who have been resilient during the coronavirus pandemic.

The discount applies to lodge rooms, cabins and campsite reservations. The discount can be claimed by using the promotional code WVSTRONG at online checkout.

The discount will be in effect through Aug. 31.
