MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — Fairmont Sr. rising senior quarterback has made his college decision. After picking up a scholarship offer from Kent State, Michael has given his verbal commitment to play for the Golden Flashes.
Michael is the second West Virginia player in the Class of 2021 to commit to an FBS program. Spring Valley lineman Wyatt Milum has committed to WVU. Bluefield defensive back Isaiah Johnson, South Charleston defensive lineman/linebacker Zeiqui Lawton, Spring Valley lineman Bryce Biggs and Musselman running back Blake Hartman also hold FBS offers.
Michael made the announcement on Citynet Statewide Sportsline Monday evening.

Michael led the Polar Bears to a 12-1 record as a junior and a spot in the Class AA semifinals. He will join Morgantown offensive lineman Marcellus Marshall at Kent State. Marshall is a member of the KSU recruiting class of 2020.
