CHARLESTON, W.Va. — The West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources’ Bureau for Children and Families will be providing one-time payments to foster care families as part of the statewide response to the coronavirus.
The payment will go to in-state foster families, child-placing agencies and emergency shelters.
The payment will be based on the number of children in a home or facility at the end of the month, and payments will be delivered in July.
