MANNINGTON, W.Va. –Marion County Sheriff jimmy Riffle has identified two drowning victims from Monday as Dalton Shuck, 23, and Charles Barber, 23, both of Fairmont.
Shuck, Barber and two others went to a pond on Dents Run. Three began to swim to a concrete platform when one began to struggle. One of the three did not make it back to shore. The other two made it t shore, but one died after lifesaving efforts failed.
Riffle said there was no foul play or impairment.
