WILLIAMSTOWN, W.Va. — At least one person died in a Friday morning house fire in Wood County.
A second injured was said to be in critical condition.
The blaze occurred in a residence in the 1800 block of Williams Highway in Williamstown. The initial call came in at shortly after 3 a.m.
The names of the victims were not immediately released.
The state Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the cause of the fire.
