Covid 19 infection rate is down in West Virginia–but the rate of spread is second highest in the nation–only bested by Montana. There are 1,329 active cases statewide. The virus has education leaders holding frank discussions about how to safely open school a month from today. Monongalia County has the highest number of active cases by far and Governor Justice could institute specialized regs there during today’s briefing. A shooting in Berkeley County from the weekend is under investigation along with an industrial accident in Marshall County.
