203 homes completed as part of RISE program

CHARLESTON, W.Va. — More than 200 homes have been completed as part of the West Virginia RISE program.

The West Virginia National Guard on Friday said contractors completed three additional projects this week, bringing the number of finished homes to 203.

Thirty-five projects are in the active construction phase, in which two are mobile home replacements, 32 projects are complete reconstruction projects and one home is being rehabilitated.

The RISE West Virginia program has 201 active cases.

Crews with West Virginia Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster are working on two bridge projects. Eighteen bridge projects have been completed.
