Randolph County police search for bank robber

BEVERLY, W.Va. — Police in Randolph County are looking for the man responsible for a Thursday bank robbery.

Randolph County Sheriff Mark Brady said it took place at the Citizens Bank of West Virginia in Beverly at about 1 p.m. Thursday.

The suspect is described as white man wearing a black baseball cap and black mask. He had on a yellow safety vest with reflective stripes.

Brady said police are looking for a burgundy Chevrolet crew cab pickup truck in connection with the robbery. It looked like the Chevy emblem was missing on the front grill.

The man was armed when he robbed the bank.
