Three Guys Before The Game – WVU vs ‘Pokes Preview (Episode 229)

The West Virginia University football team kicks off its 9th season in the Big 12 Conference on Saturday in Stillwater with more questions than answers.

Both WVU and Oklahoma State have the typical early season unknowns, but are also navigating the new world of COVID-19.

That means rosters are unsettled until final testing is conducted on Friday. Oklahoma State is already dealing with significant issues on offense. Starting quarterback Spencer Sanders sprained his ankle in the opener and two offensive linemen are also dealing with injury. The status of that trio could have a significant impact on the game.

The “Guys” present their keys to the game with a series of info-nuggets that will play a large role in who walks off the field with a 2-0 record. They also answer listener questions and an assortment of intriguing over-under propositions.

Join them again Monday for a complete recap of the Mountaineers and Cowboys.

Three Guys Before The Game is brought to you by Mardis Gras Casino and Resort, Wheeling Island Hotel-Casino-Racetrack and Burdette Camping Center.
