DeVos schedules Jefferson County visit for Thursday

JEFFERSON COUNTY, W.Va. — U.S. Education Secretary Betsey DeVos will be in Jefferson County on Thursday to discuss the county school system’s reopening plan amid the coronavirus pandemic.

DeVos will take part in a roundtable with education leaders, school employees, parents and students at the Jefferson County Schools Operations Facility in Kearneysville.

The event is open to the press.

Attendees are required to wear a facial covering and will receive a temperature check.
