Keyser man killed in Maryland wreck

GARRETT COUNTY, Md. — A West Virginia man died in a Tuesday afternoon motorcycle crash in Garrett County, Maryland.

According to the Garrett County Sheriff’s Department, Peter Frey, 77, of Keyser, drove his motorcycle from Swanton Hill Road onto Maryland Route 135, Maryland Highway, at around 2 p.m. Tuesday and collided with an approaching Potomac Edison truck.

Investigators said Frey did not stop at the intersection. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The fatal crash remains under investigation.
