MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — Days after the Youngstown State men’s basketball team paused team activities due to COVID, West Virginia’s home opener against the Penguins has been postponed. WVU and YSU were scheduled to play on Wednesday, December 2.

The schools will look to reschedule on a common open date later in December. The Mountaineers will open their season with three games in the Bad Boy Mowers Crossover Classic in Sioux Falls S.D. next week. West Virginia’s new home opener will be played on December 9 against Robert Morris.
