Three Guys Before The Game – Squashed Spiders (Episode 252)

After playing two games in three days the Mountaineer basketball team has a chance to collectively catch its breath.

WVU, which jumped to No. 8 in the latest AP Top-25 rankings, opens its ninth season in the Big 12 Friday night when it hosts Iowa State.

On this episode, Tony Caridi and Brad Howe drill into WVU’s wins over North Texas and Richmond. The Mountaineers displayed a shooting accuracy that had been discussed but not seen until Sunday.

Was that shooting prowess a harbinger of things to come or a one afternoon basketball oasis?

The “Guys” answer that question and also address a series of basketball and football questions from listeners.

Join them again Thursday for their preview of the Iowa State game and an update on WVU football recruiting and bowl possibilities.

Three Guys Before The Game is brought to you by Mardis Gras Casino and Resort, Wheeling Island Hotel-Casino-Racetrack and Burdette Camping Center. Look sporty by wearing Three Guys merchandise.
