Fire reported at Ritchie County recycling site

RITCHIE COUNTY, W.Va. — Temperatures were in the teens as volunteer firefighters in Ritchie County worked early Sunday morning to put out a fire at a commercial building located in Ellenboro.

Information from the Ritchie County Office of Emergency Management indicated the fire was reported after 5 a.m. at the Ritchie County Recycling Center located on Ellenboro Road, also known as Route 16.

Crews from Ellenboro, Harrisville and Pennsboro responded.

No injuries were reported.

Information about a possible cause was not available on Sunday morning.
