Three Guys Before The Game – NCAA Preview (Episode 278)

The West Virginia University basketball team has arrived in Indianapolis where it will compete in a most unusual NCAA tournament.

The Mountaineers are one of 68 schools who will play later this week in the state of Indiana.  NCAA organizers are hoping a “bubble concept” will allow teams to stay healthy to play college sports’ most profitable championship event.

On this episode, the “Guys” react to the Mountaineers favorable No. 3 seeding and the Big 12 Conference success of placing seven teams in the tournament field.

It’s just the third time in school history that WVU will enter the tourney seeded No. 3 or better.  However, there are no guarantees.  Third seeded WVU lost in an opening-round stunner to No. 14 seed Stephen F. Austin in 2016.

Listener questions round out the show.  Three Guys returns Thursday with a comprehensive preview of Friday’s game against Morehead State.

Three Guys Before The Game is brought to you by Burdette Camping Center and the Mountaineer Athletic Club’s Time – 2- Climb Campaign.  Don’t forget to check out Three Guys merchandise.
