Offensive lineman Charlie Katarincic joins WVU Football Class of 2022

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — Pittsburgh native Charlie Katarincic is the second member of the WVU football recruiting Class of 2022. Katarincic announced his verbal commitment to the Mountaineers Thursday afternoon.

Katarincic competes for Choate Rosemary Hall, a private school in Wallingford, Connecticut. The 6-foot-5, 280-pounder had scholarship offers from three Ivy League schools and East Carolina. WVU presented Katarincic with a scholarship offer in mid-December.

Katarincic joins Spring Valley’s Corbin Page in WVU’s next recruiting class.
