HUNTINGTON, W.Va. — Cabell-Huntington Hospital workers and facility executives have agreed to a three-year contract impacting around 150 employees.
SEIU District 1199 announced the deal Monday, which involves hospital technology specialists, radiation therapists and various technicians.
“With the ratification of this contract agreement, we have a greater voice in the area of patient care,” said Courtney Merritt, a CAT scan technician. “The contract includes guaranteed wage increases and improved benefits. This agreement benefits technical and professional workers at the hospital, in addition to our families.”
Cabell-Huntington Hospital nurses joined SEIU District 1199 in November 2019, and the hospital’s technical workers followed in February 2020.
