$1 million Megamillions ticket sold in Morgantown

MORGANTOWN – Someone in Morgantown is worth a million dollars today. Officials with the West Virginia Lottery say a Mega Millions ticket worth $1 million was sold at the Suncrest Town Centre Kroger in Morgantown.

The ticket barely missed the jackpot, matching all five numbers but just missing the Mega Ball. The matching numbers were 9, 22, 39, 41, and 54. The individual also purchased another play, worth $2, on the same play slip.

Lottery officials encourage the person to sign the back of their ticket and call the West Virginia Lottery at 304-558-0500.
