WHEELING, W.Va. — Williamstown is one win away from the state baseball tournament after an 11-6 win at Wheeling Central Catholic Monday evening in the opening game of the Class A Region I tournament.

The Yellowjackets (16-10) have scored in double digits in all four of their postseason games. Wheeling Central Catholic (13-14) looks to stay alive in the best-of-three regional series Tuesday at 5 p.m. at Williamstown. If necessary, the Maroon Knights will host a decisive game Wednesday.
