2 men charged after allegedly firing shots at Huntington housing community

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. — Two men face charges after they allegedly fired multiple shots at a housing community earlier this week.

Police took 27-year-old Austin Bruce Jeffreys of Huntington and Danieal Dale Coubert, 29, of Ashland, Kentucky into custody on Friday.

The men allegedly drove to the Marcum Terrace housing community on Monday and fired multiple shots from their vehicle.

Jeffreys faces a wanton endangerment charge, and Coubert has been charged with conspiracy. Police officers said more charges are expected to be filed in the coming days.
