Taylor County Sheriff Terry Austin said Joshua Blake Price, 29, of Farmington, was arrested Wednesday and charged with murder.

Poston’s body was found near his pick-up truck along U.S. Route 119 on the Black Mountain pull-off close to the Taylor-Monongalia County line on the morning of June 26.

“The shooting was a homicide,” Taylor County Prosecutor John Bord told MetroNews affiliate WAJR last week. “He was shot two times in head and four times in the body below the neck.”

Bord said investigators believe Poston was shot where his body was found.

“There didn’t appear to be any type of struggle,” Bord said.

Authorities haven’t said what led them to Price.
